  1. This is my third attempmt at blogging.
  2. This time I am going to really try to keep it up.
  3. I have commitment issues.
  4. I am a mother of two. One teen and one almost teen.
  5. My children are my life. Yes I know how corny and cliche that is.
  6. I don’t care.
  7. That’s a lie. Sometimes I worry that when they are grown my life will be empty.
  8. I genuinely like my kids. I enjoy them. Teenage angst, puberty, drama and all.
  9. “honey” is my wife/girlfriend/partner.
  10. We have been together 4 1/2 years.
  11. Honey is kind and rational.
  12. I hold a grudge and am emotional.
  13. I am butch.
  14. I look femme.
  15. Honey says I am a study in contradictions.
  16. I don’t know if that’s good or bad.
  17. I was born in the wrong decade.
  18. My favorite band is the Beatles.
  19. John is my fav.
  20. I cried the day he was shot.
  21. I was 10.
  22. I cry when I hear Imagine.
  23. I am 37.
  24. My favorite Beatles song is Blackbird.
  25. I’ve met one famous person.
  26. She wasn’t famous when I met her.
  27. I wish I had a magic wand.
  28. My best friend is a boy…ok he’s a man.
  29. If I liked boys, he’d be the “one”.
  30. I don’t like boys like that.
  31. I do have a couple “man crushes”.
  32. Brad Pitt is the only one that sticks.
  33. I actually want to be Brad Pitt.
  34. I have 2 dogs.
  35. They both talk.
  36. I do most of the translating.
  37. One has 3 legs and is currently wearing a diaper.
  38. I was suppose to  get her spayed.
  39. I procrastinate.
  40. I am a farmer.
  41. Actually I am what is called a market gardener.
  42. I like the word “farmer”.
  43. I farm organically.
  44. I can drive a tractor.
  45. I can ride horses.
  46. I haven’t since I was a teen.
  47. I don’t really like to.
  48. I am an intermittent vegetarian.
  49. I really like steak.
  50. I read seed catalogs year round.
  51. I reread them like some do their favorite book.
  52. I am the eldest child.
  53. I have 1 brother, 1 half brother, 1 step brother, 1 half sister, 1 step sister.
  54. My mother is extremely religous. JW
  55. My father owns a bar.
  56. My mother is one of my closest friends.
  57. I wish I was closer to my father.
  58. I smoke.
  59. I am ashamed of it.
  60. I drink rarely.
  61. I have a tendency to throw up when I do.
  62. Honey cleans my shoes.
  63. I used to suffer from anxiety.
  64. Coming out didn’t help.
  65. Getting a divorce did.
  66. Sometimes I still get anxious.
  67. It doesn’t last long.
  68. X is still in my life.
  69. Usually the cause of anxiety.
  70. I came out when I was 28.
  71. My mother is the only one I haven’t told.
  72. We don’t talk about it.
  73. It’s obvious.
  74. I think Honey is brilliant.
  75. Sometimes she’s a little too logical/rational for me.
  76. I put up with it.
  77. I am sarcastic.
  78. I get my feelings hurt easily.
  79. But only Honey knows that about me. Well and you too.
  80. I am insanely protective of those I love.
  81. I love to paint.
  82. I am not good at it.
  83. I used to be a clean freak perfectionist.
  84. I got over it.
  85. I am not terribly romantic.
  86. I can’t remember my anniversary.
  87. It’s in May.
  88.  I am pretty sure of that.
  89. I buy utilitarian gifts.
  90. Honey loves me for it.
  91. I make lists of things I want including store and price and aisle it’s on.
  92.  I never get anything on my list.
  93. Gnomes kind of freak me out.
  94. My son buys me one every chance he get.
  95. My son kind of freaks me out.
  96. I think he is a little too much like me.
  97. I like Halloween as much as I like Christmas.
  98. One  year I was Zorro Straight girls wouldn’t leave me alone.
  99. One year I was Trinity from The Matrix, boys wouldn’t leave me alone.
  100. I liked Zorro best, but
  101. I am scared of straight girls.
  102. I love to dance.
  103. Honey hates to dance.
  104. I dance with dogs and kids almost everyday.
  105. I love to sing.
  106. Honey says I am good.
  107. Thats the reason I love her.
  108. I know better.
  109. I can hear.
  110. I own a moving truck.
  111. I want to paint “Lez-go Moving Company”  “the thing to bring on your second date.” on the side.
  112. Honey thinks I am silly.
  113. I am a great cook.
  114. I would rather cook than go out. except…
  115. Spicy Cashew Chicken at the Cheesecake Factory is absolute fav.
  116. I think Ruth Chris’s is over rated.
  117. I lived in Hawaii for 2 years.
  118. I LOVE Hawaii.
  119. I worked at the Hard Rock Cafe Honolulu.
  120. For 2 months.
  121. I wait tables whenever I need a job.
  122. I usually stay home with kiddos and take care of home life for all of us.
  123. I have an odd sleep schedule.
  124. It works for our family.
  125. I am a die hard Survivor fan.
  126. Thursday nights are family TV night in our home.
  127. My son and I want to do Amazing Race if it last another 6 years.
  128. I’ll eat the bugs - He’ll carry the heavy stuff.
  129. I use to be a republican.
  130. I was brainwashed.
  131. I love Dennis Kucinich.
  132. I don’t think he has a chance .
  133. I love to travel.
  134. I travel to eat.
  135. Hawaii had the BEST food.
  136. Wait…Muffalettas in New Orleans were Fantastic!
  137. I change my hair color often.
  138. Now it’s bleached white.
  139. I don’t own a digital camera.
  140. I wish I did.
  141. I’m going to put that on my gift list.
  142. When honey first saw me she commented to a friend “Lesbians don’t come in that flavor.”
  143. I don’t set off gaydar.
  144. I set off soccermomdar.
  145. I have 2 tattoos.
  146. I would love more.
  147. I love documentaries.
  148. Just watched “God Grew Tired of Us”- fascinating.
  149. I read alot.
  150. Jane Goodall is my hero.
  151. I believe marijuana should be decriminalized.
  152. I think Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot. (thanks Al Franken)
  153. I’m not sure why I am so drawn to the idea of blogging.
  154. My grandmother always said “never put anything in writing”
  155. She wasn’t “quite right”.
  156. Maybe it’s narcisim.
  157. I love love love to read blogs. It’s cool how other peoples’ minds work.

    From this list, we have a lot in common. I lost count at 20 things. Don’t be afraid of all straight girls, please. Some of us are pretty harmless.

    We have quite a few things in common too. And you are the only other person I know who even knows “Blackbird” by the Beatles.

    Know who else knows “Blackbird”? Both of my kids! It was my secret weapon in getting BB down for the night. By the third verse he was always out. This worked until he was 11.
