On LoGo. Wow another high five for the LGBT documentary film makers. It’s pretty interesting. 3 LGBT community members from 3 small conservative towns tell their story about coming out at work. This may be a shocker to those in, what a blog friend called, “the progressive bubble” of a larger, more gay-friendly town or city.
TiVo this if you get a chance and see how the rest of “us” live. It rang true with me, even though our town is slightly more progressive than those shown. At least Washington includes “sexual orientation” in non-discriminatory laws. Some are not so lucky.

Here in NY we have SONDA — Sexual Orientation Non-Discrimination Act.
While it doesn’t apply to employment (NY is an “employment at will” state) it applies to housing, services, etc.
I came out at work, fully, the day the news article about my lawsuit against my employer came out. Nothing like doing it with a bang, eh?

Well, funny you should ask. My blog now has the details of our resounding victory in Appellate Court today!
Even the NY Times picked it up!
