and pork and lamb (No judgements please, it’s for the worlds best meatloaf).
I ordered from http://www.thunderinghooves.net/ and picked it up today.
For those of you in Seattle, there are a number of neighborhood buying clubs that offer local pick up.
For those in Portland and elsewhere- are you jealous? Probably not, but you should be. This is some great meat.
I’m thinking of trying the 100 mile diet this summer. Anyone care to join me?

Grass fed beef is quite tasty! Yeah for the 100 mile diet: since I read the book Plenty, it has changed my mindset about food and food choices. I have to admit how lucky I am here in Portland: New SEasons labels where their products are from, making it easy to choose local. We had one meal this last summer that was so local it was from our front yard. Love that.

Lelo- seriously go get Omnivores Dilemma. I am sure the library has it. I read everything I can on organic/sustainable/local food systems. It is one of the best so far. well written, sometimes funny and thought provoking.
