BeeCharmer’s Buzz

Honey is sick sick sick again today but I took her to the Dr. and she’s is on antibiotics now. Poor baby. Her bad head cold just disappeared two days ago and relocated to her lungs. She doesn’t act particularly sick until she over does it and she has to go to bed. I prop her up, turn on the humidifier, medicate her, turn on the tv, set a book nearby and get her some juice. While she rested yesterday evening I went back to cleaning house in case we get to have family over for Christmas. I turned on Melissa’s “Lucky” and sang and danced around the house as I cleaned. A little while later I heard honey’s squeaky voice hollering for me. I came in and asked what she needed. In her most pitiful raspy labored breathing voice she says  ” you know I never understood this song until right now, Melissa had pneumonia when she wrote it.” Then I heard Melissa blaring from the living room “I’m alright, I’m alright. It only hurts when I breathe”. He-he even when she is really sick, Honey is funny.

BTW, Honey seems much better this morning.
